Our History
Pouch Self Storage Founder, John Yelland, hails from the city of Melbourne in the state of Victoria, Australia. In 1979, he created Southern California's POUCH Self Storage. The kangaroo's pouch is nature's safe and secure storage spot and is a mark of Pouch's Australian heritage. You'll find Pouch's symbolic kangaroo flying overall 9 Southern California facilities.
Around the facilities, you’ll notice names like Meekatharra Drive,
Oodnadatta Track or Mooloolaba Place adorning hallways and
driveways. These names descend from Australia's native aboriginals and, to this day, identify towns, streets and cities across Australia - from New South Wales, through the outback to Perth in Western Australia.
You are provided with a clean and Secure space for Storage of your Personal or Business goods at all of our self-storage facilities. Pouch Self Storage is an industry leader in design, building, and maintenance of Self Storage facilities.
